SATA postpones Jury Evaluations due to Global Health Crisis

Due to the ongoing global outbreak of COVID-19 and the risks involved in travelling, the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has decided to push back the Jury Evaluations to June 2020, keeping in line with the public recommendations of Health Protection Agencies across the region.

The health and safety of everyone is our top priority and this current situation is a concern for the SATA team, the jury members and all the various properties who would have to travel and associate together.

SATA has been carefully monitoring the situation across the region and following World Health Organisation’s (WHO) and Health Protections Agencies’ public recommendations to avoid travelling to infected areas and to limit public gatherings, in order to conclude on the decision to postpone the Evaluations.

The finalised evaluation schedule will be shared on a later date, however the online voting for SATA 2020 will continue as planned. We wish all the properties a success on the online voting and healthy days ahead.

Meanwhile, please do not hesitate to contact any of our focal points if you require further information.
