The South Asian Travel Awards announced its 2025 partnership lineup during a ceremony at Hulhule Island Hotel in the Maldives. This marks the ninth iteration of the awards, which recognizes achievement in South Asian tourism and hospitality.
Honda Marine secured the Platinum Partner position, emphasizing environmental responsibility. Gold Partners include The Hawks (fuel distribution), Velana International Airport (featuring a new 72,000-square-meter terminal designed for 7.5 million annual passengers), and Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives. Renaatus Realty serves as Silver Partner, while Hulhulé Island Hotel acts as the Maldives hospitality partner.
The ceremony will occur September 19–20, 2025, at Cinnamon Grand Colombo in Sri Lanka. The evaluation panel comprises nine regional experts, including Dr. Sachin Bansal from India and Thoyyib Mohamed from the Maldives.
